Barbara A Newell (VanSickle)

Barbara A. (VanSickle) Newell, 82, of Coshocton, passed away on Tuesday, December 14, 2021, at Embassy Nursing Home in Newark, Ohio.

She was born on December 30, 1938, and the daughter of the late Fred and Lillian (Marks) Robertson in Ann Arbor, Michigan.

She married the late Harold VanSickle on November 4, 1966. Sadly, Harold passed away in 1999.

Barbara was part of the Ladies Auxiliary for the Coshocton Eagles along with Junior Regnant and Chaplin of the Coshocton Moose.

She is survived by her children Bill (Kathy) Howell of Florida, Roy (Alline) Howell of Newark, Lisa (Stanley) Davies of Florida, and Margie Randles of Newark, 13 grandchildren, 29 great-grandchildren and 4 great-great-grandchildren, brother Edgar Robertson, 3 sisters Betty Sigman, Thelma Untied, and Lois Belt.

Barbara is preceded in death by her parents, husband and a son, Gene Howell and brother Gene Wolfe.

A Celebration of Life will be held Friday, December 17, 2021, from 1:00pm-3:00pm with Pastor Steve Young at the Free Funeral Home.
