Burel Ward Cullison, 84, of Coshocton passed away Sunday, January 17, 2021 at Lafayette Pointe, after an extended illness. He was born in Coshocton, Ohio on April 8, 1936 to the late James and Rasalind (Mercer) Cullison. He married Wanda Stout who passed away October, 1997 then married Betty Prindle who passed away September, 2012.
Burel worked at Penn Michigan, West Lafayette from 1964-1980. He then worked at Excello Fabric Finishers from 1980 until he retired in 1996. For 25 years he was part of the Fraternal Order of Eagles 761, Coshocton. He served as president for many years.
He is survived by one daughter Wanda Kay Mounts of West Lafayette; two step children Rick (Shirley) Glazer of Fresno and Candy (Don) Ethel of Warsaw; one grandchild Tara; seven step grandchildren Nichole, Heather, Corey, Blake, Andrea, Angela, Ashley; numerous step great grandchildren.
In addition to his parents and two wives, he was preceded in death by two stepchildren Kathy Smith and Roger Glazer; several siblings and son-in-law Terry Mounts.
Services will be held at 12 P.M., Thursday, January 21, 2021 at the Free Funeral Home, Coshocton with Pastor Mark Granger officiating. Burial will follow at Bakersville Cemetery. Visitation will take place one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
