Charles Monroe Lewis, 65, of Coshocton, passed away at his home Tuesday, November 4, 2025.
He was born January 25, 1960 in Coshocton, Ohio to the late Raymond and Virginia (Poole) Lewis.
Charles served in the U. S. Army 1979 – 1982. He was retired from the Coshocton Lumber Company. Charles was an avid fisherman and also enjoyed playing golf.
Charles is survived by his brothers Raymond, Floyd and Bruce; sisters Kathy, Shari, Brenda and Le Vahn.
In addition to his parents Raymond and Virginia Lewis, he was preceded in death by his brother James “Goo Goo”; sister Bernice; cousin Mitchell; nephews Michael and Tyrone; great nephews James and Adonis.
A Celebration of Life will be held at noon Saturday, November 22, 2025 at the Shiloh Missionary Baptist Church with Rev. Cedric Anderson officiating. The Coshocton County Veterans Honor Guard will be conducting military honors.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Free Funeral Home, 788 S Second Street, Coshocton, Ohio 43812 to offset his funeral expenses.
