Cody J. Smith

Cody J. Smith age 15 of Mt. Vernon, Ohio passed away suddenly June 18, 2019. He was born August 22, 2003 in Coshocton. He was the son of Earl E. Smith of Warsaw, Ohio and Kimberly Elaine Deringer of Mt. Vernon, Ohio.

A memorial service will be held Thursday, June 27, 2019 at 11:00 A.M. at the Free Funeral Home in Coshocton. Calling hours will be held Wednesday 1-4 P.M. at the funeral home.

Cody was a student at River View High School. He enjoyed riding 4 wheelers and dirt bikes. He also liked to build and work on things and playing on his game system with his brothers.

In addition to his parents, he is survived by three brothers Thomas Wisecarver, Zackary Smith, and Landon Smith; one sister Lacy Smith; grandparents Bill and Marilyn Love, and Ricky Deringer; great grandparents Eddie and Geraldine Deringer, and Donald Cutshall Sr.; lots of aunts and uncles.

He was preceded in death by one sister Luka Smith; paternal grandmother Ester Smith; great grandparents Mary and John Stone, and Donna Cutshall.
