Earnest Latham
Obituary
Earnest Latham, 82 of Coshocton, passed away on October 30, 2021 at the comfort of his home.
On May 15, 1939 he was born in Brent, Alabama to the late Norman and Alberta (Odom) Latham.
In 1962, Earnest married the love of his life, Ruthie Mae Conethan-Latham. Sadly, Ruthie passed on August 27, 2017.
Earnest was a Deep Miner at Peabody Coal Company until they closed. After, he was a Custodian at Coshocton High School where he retired in 2005. He was also a member of the Shiloh Baptist Church.
He is survived by his 3 children Marla Latham, Sarah Irby, and John (Shirley) Latham all of Coshocton. Also surviving are 6 grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren, and 6 great-great-grandchildren.
He is preceded in death by his parents, wife, daughter Ruthann Robinson, granddaughter Kelly Latham and 2 sisters Ella Daniels and Lula Waters.
Funeral Services will be Saturday, November 6, 2021 at 1:00pm. Visitation will be from 11:00am-1:00pm prior to the funeral. Burial will follow at South Lawn Cemetery.
