Janice E. (Spring) Hyson

West Lafayette - Janice Hyson, 86, of West Lafayette, Ohio passed away peacefully on February 3rd, 2025 at the Lafayette Pointe Nursing Center. She was born on April 29, 1938, in Coshocton to the late William Dale and Ida Spring.

Janice was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Ray Hyson; her daughters, Peggy (Hunt) Larntz and Angie Ishmael, and her sons, Roger (Hunt) Smith and Jeffrey Ishmael. She is survived by her sons, Danny Hunt and Mark Ishmael, as well as her cherished grandchildren, Dannielle, Joshua, Elizabeth, Nathan, Jordan, Miranda, Rebekah, Barbie, and Liberty. She is also remembered by her twin sisters, Wanda Belle and Wilma Hunt. Additionally, she will be missed by nieces, nephews, cousins, friends, and her daughters-in-law Cindy Smith, Lori Hunt, and future Cindy (Friesner) Ishmael.

A graveside service honoring her life will be held at the Rittman, Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery on a date that has yet to be determined.

Janice will be fondly remembered for her kindness, warmth, and the love that she shared with her family and many friends.
