Jeffrey Allen Greenwalt

Jeffrey Allen Greenwalt, 50, of West Lafayette, Ohio, passed away on February 11, 2026. He was born on November 24, 1975.

Jeffrey was a beloved husband, father, grandfather, brother, and son. He is survived by his loving wife, Melissa; his six children, Shawn, Austin (Jaidan), Gavin, Hannah, Cole, and Maddox; his cherished granddaughters, Journey and Zeppelin; and his sisters, Janet and Debbie.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Beverly; his father, Glenn; his sister, Liz; and his grandson, Jamison.

Jeffrey fought a long and courageous battle with depression. Though he carried struggles that were not always visible to others, he was deeply loved by his family and friends — far more than he may have ever realized. His life was woven into the lives of those around him in ways that will never be undone. Those who knew him will remember not only the challenges he faced, but also the moments of laughter, loyalty, and love that defined him.

The family would like to thank Legacy Lanes & Lounge and the leagues, McWane Ductile, and the countless people who have shown their love and support for them as they begin the long journey of healing they have in front of them.

In honoring Jeffrey’s life, the family hopes to encourage open conversations about mental health and the importance of seeking help without shame. Mental health struggles are often silent, and no one should feel alone facing them.

No services are planned at this time. The family will host a celebration of life at a later date to honor and remember Jeffrey together.

He will be deeply missed and forever loved.
