Joyce A. Gessel age 67 of Coshocton went home to be with the Lord February 9, 2018 at Mercy Medical Center, Canton following a short illness.
A memorial service will be held at 1:00 P.M. Monday, February 19, 2018 at the Church of God, 703 S. Second Street, Coshocton with Pastor Jared Mitchell officiating. Interment will follow at Fairfield Cemetery, West Lafayette. Calling hours will be 5-7 P.M. Sunday at the Free Funeral Home and one hour prior to the service at the church.
Joyce was born October 10, 1950 in Coshocton, she was the daughter of the late Carl and Virgie (Easter) Gessel.
Joyce was a graduate of Coshocton High School. She worked at Pretty Products after graduation until she retired. She was a lifetime member of the Church of God.
Surviving are one brother–in-law, Dewey “Mike” Turbeville of Conesville,Ohio; two nieces, Lori (David) Richmond of Brimfield, Ohio and Shelly DeWitt of Coshocton; one nephew, Dewey (Lizzie) Turbeville of Cambridge, Ohio; three great nieces, Delaney, Emma and Audrey Richmond; and one great nephew, Aron Poland.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by one sister, Linda Turbeville.
