Kenneth Smitley, Jr.

Kenneth Smitley Jr., age 42 of Coshocton, Ohio, went to heaven on February 20, 2021.  He was born on November 30, 1978 in Tampa, Florida to the late Kenneth Smitley and Mary Lou Reed.  He was also preceded in death by his wife, April Dawn (Roberts) Smitley; brother, Roger Lee Reed; grandparents, Alvin and Sarah Reed.  He graduated from River View High School.  He loved to go fishing, camping, and hunting.  To pass the time, Kenneth would often work on cars.  He also loved spending time with his grandchildren, family, and friends.  He will be greatly missed, but we know he will always be in our hearts.  He was a loving son, father, brother, uncle, and grandpa.  Kenneth is survived by his children, Katherine (Smitley) Chanay, Joseph (Smitley) Chanay, Nicole Hayes, Nick Hayes, Billy Merck; grandchildren, Addison Jackson, Paisley Smith, Kaisen Hayes; nieces and nephews, Matthew McEntee Jr., Sarah McEntee, Austin McEntee, Riley Burdette, Jayden Burdette; sister, Kimberly (Earl) Stull; brother, Kristopher Burdette; dear friend, Matthew McEntee Sr.  A Celebration of Life will be held 2:00 P.M. Wednesday, March 10, 2021 at the Free Funeral Home of Coshocton with Pastor Mark Granger officiating.
