Mary (Zadenuk) Grisak

Mary Z. Grisak, 96, of Coshocton, died Monday, April 10, 2023 at the Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center. 

 Born August 22, 1926 in Donora, PA, she was the daughter of the late Anton and Lucia Zadernuk.

On September 3, 1977, she married Andrew J. Grisak who proceded her in death on January 16, 2000. 

She was a graduate of Conesville High School, class of 1945 and the former Newark School of Nursing, Class of 1949.  She was employed at Coshocton Memorial Hospital for 35 years. 

In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by three brothers, Daniel Zadenuk, Anton Zadenuk Jr. and Peter Zadenuk; two sisters, Sanka Wright and Sophie Hammond.

Surviving are nieces, Sophie (John) Walters of Coshocton; Mary (John) Howell of Coshocton; Katherine (Bill) Reed of Arizona; nephew, Charles (Diana) Wright of Coshocton; and some special friends, Marie, Joanne and Christina.

Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Thursday, April 13, 2023 at the Free Funeral Home with Pastor Jeff Calkins officiating.  Burial will be in South Lawn Cemetery in Coshocton.

Friends may call one hour prior to the service Thursday at the funeral home.
