Richard J Wise

Richard (Rick) Wise, 74 passed away peacefully at home on June 6, 2025 in West Lafayette,
Ohio. Rick was born September 12, 1950. He grew up in Brilliant, Ohio and graduated from
Kent State University in Spring 1972. Rick was a fan of classic cars, motorcycles, and loved to
fish! Some of his favorite things in life were going to classic car shows with his identical brother
Rob, motorcycle rides with his wife Linda through the Blue Ridge Mountains, and fishing in the
Gulf after he and Linda retired and moved to Florida. Rick loved his family and we loved him
too. We all have many happy memories with him. Rick is preceded in death by his parents
Robert and Grace Wise, brother Robert Wise, sister Grace Kittoe, and daughter Tonya Masters.
He is survived by his loving wife, Linda Wise, step- children, Jack (Ellen) Jones, Adam (April)
Jones, Jody (Angel) Jones, Trisha (Graig) Harbold, granddaughter Samantha Mani, as well as
numerous step-grandchildren, nieces Christie (Wise) Dilorenzo and Amanda Kittoe, nephews
Evan Wise and Sean Wise, and many great nieces and nephews.
Other family-Sister in law Laurie Wise (my mom), Brother in law Bob Kittoe. Cousins Cheryl
(Ed) Rawson and Russ Wise.
