Robert “Bob” I. Kerr Jr. age 68 of Fresno, Ohio passed away May 24, 2018 at Licking Memorial Hospital in Newark, Ohio following an extended illness.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday, May 30, 2018 at 1:00 P.M. at the Free Funeral Home, 788 S. Second St., Coshocton, Ohio with Pastor Neal Dearyan officiating. Military rites will be conducted by the Coshocton County Veterans Council. Burial will follow at Franklin Cemetery. Calling hours will be Tuesday, May 29, 2018 5-8 P.M. at the funeral home.
Robert was born May 4, 1950 in New Castle, PA and was the son of Robert I. and Joann (Cragle) Kerr Sr.
He first married Vickie Mason and she preceded him in death. He later married Marcie Kominar and she survives.
Robert was a Journeyman Millwright for Stone Container. He served in the U.S.M.C. during the Vietnam War and was a former member of the Zanesville V.F.W.
Surviving in addition to his mother Joann and former wife Marcie; 6 children Kristina (Jeff) Bell of Roseville, Ohio, Robert I. (Stefanie) Kerr III of Newark, Ohio, Timothy, (Jennifer) Kerr of Newark, Ohio, Chelsea Kerr of Fresno, Ohio, Austin Kerr of Fresno, Ohio and Morgan Kerr of Ohio; 5 grandchildren; 1 brother Edward Kerr of New Castle P.A.; 2 sisters Debra Webster of New Castle P.A. and Kathy Zimnick of West Palm Beach, Florida.
He was preceded in death by his father; first wife Vickie; brothers Ronnie Kerr, William Kerr; sister Nancy Arena.
