Ronald Dean Billman

Ronald Dean Billman, age 83, of Echoing Hills, Warsaw, Ohio died Wednesday, November 8, 2023 at The Morrison House, Zanesville, Ohio.

Born May 17, 1940 at Coshocton, he was the son of the late James Lewis and Anna Gertrude (Glazier) Billman.

He previously worked at Hopewell Industries.  While there he worked for Baker’s IGA, was on the basketball team and did piecework.  At Echoing Hills, he enjoyed doing arts and crafts, playing solitaire and slot machines on his tablet.  He would go on an annual trip on his birthday to Wheeling, WV to do some gambling.

Surviving is one brother, Donald E. Billman of Coshocton; several nieces and nephews; several great and great great nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers, James Lewis Billman, Jr. and Robert Lee Billman; two sisters, Beverly Jean Mobley and Patricia Ann Hughes.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 P.M., Thursday, November 16, 2023 at Free Funeral Home with Rev. Donis Meek officiating. Burial will follow at Prairie Chapel Cemetery. Calling hours will be held one hour prior to the service at the funeral home. 

Memoriums may be made to either Echoing Hills or Genesis Hospice Care.  Envelopes are available at the funeral home.
