Tammy Renee (Smailes) Shearn

Tammy R. Shearn age 61, of Coshocton, Ohio passed away Saturday, July 1, 2023 at Licking Memorial Hospital, following an extended illness.

Tammy was born April 2, 1962 in Millersburg, Ohio. She was the daughter of the late John Smailes.  She married Robert Shearn August 10, 1991.  Tammy was a homemaker and enjoyed watching cooking shows and cooking for her family and friends. 

In addition to her husband Robert, she is survived by two daughters, Carrie Shearn of Coshocton and Catie (Michael) Hatfield of West Lafayette; three grandchildren, Dominik, Emily and Holden.

She was preceded in death by her father, John Smailes; a daughter Cassidy Smailes; and her aunt Jean Smailes who helped raise her.

Funeral services will be held 1:00 P.M. Friday, July 7, 2023 at the Free Funeral Home, Coshocton.  Burial will follow at Franklin Cemetery.  Calling hours will be two hours prior to the service on Friday at the funeral home.

Memorial contributions may be made to the funeral home to help with funeral expenses.
